Summer

Next week is the last week of school for me. Don't have to worry about do any more school work until sometime next August. After I get finished with the rest of my exams it will lift a huge weight off of my shoulders. Studying for exams is the most stressful thing I find about finals. Having to cover so much material at one time alone causes mass amounts of stress and strain on me mentally and physically. It feels like i never get a chance to rest and i spend my days working non-stop.
This summer I am trying to find a simple job that i could either work during the day or maybe even nights with the exception of friday nights. I am trying to apply for a position at the local gyms in Slidell. This way I may be able to get a free membership out of it. Plus working at a gym would be simple and stress free. The hardest thing I would have to do would be clean and wipe down the machines which would not take long at all. I was waiting for a response back from the Coast Guard's intern program to see whether or not I had a job with them. Finally, word came back that I didnt' get the job because six months prior work experience in a certain feild was necessary. So, next year I can get the job for sure. It would be nice if i could work some nights that way I could spend the day time on the boat or hangin out in the sun with friends. But, it is essential that i find a gym to join over the summer. I cannot go the entire summer without working out.

This whole blog thing is annoying. I don't know how i was short by a couple blogs but it was really aggervating that I was. I know for a fact that I did every one of my blogs every week. Unless we were supposed to have been doing two for some weeks. That is the only way I can figure that I was short. But how bad would it be to still have the prohibition era still going on. How bad would your weekends really suck College would have new grade highs, possibly. It would really suck to own a bar and all of a sudden have the prohibition era come back into play. During the old times of prohibition a lot of beer companies created something called near beer. It barely had any alcohol content in it what so ever. Bud produced bivo, Miller had vivo, and Pabs created Pablo which was short for Pabs low. Imagine that this "near beer" tasted horrible. I wouldn't even drink anything of the sort. This also remind me of all the brilliant beer commercials. How much money does the industry have to spend in order to make such commercials and have them air so much? Well, I guess it really doesn't matter when you make that much money anyway by having thirsty beer craving americans to buy all that beer. One of my all time favorites is the Budweiser commercial with the three frogs. That one never gets old and reminds me of when I was a little kid watching t.v.
This past weekend was pretty fun. Friday I left to go back to slidell again. That night I called up some people and they said they wanted to go to Lafayette. So at nine thirty that night we left to head to lafayette. There was some kind of creole festival goin on downtown and you could walk around drinkin like in the french quarter. Downtown lafayette is kind of like New Orleans, just not nearly as big. It is more like the section that you only go to to walk around and party. There are some trashy people there, but most of the time was fun. Then Sunday before I came back to Hattiesburg. We went to the Beaux Rivage buffet for no apparent reason. I paid twenty one dollars just to eat for two hours, it was possibly one of the biggest wastes of money I have ever been a part of. I should have just stayed at home and saved my money for that damn Jeezy concert, which is now going to cost me about 40 dollars so we can get good seats. Another thing is that they will be serving beer at this young jizzle concert, so this could get very ugly very fast. Anyway, to get completely off subject, I am watching something on the History Channel about beer. Anheiser-Busch has been the number one selling beer in America for hundreds of years. Mainly due to the bottling of beer, because by the time the automatic glassblowre wwas invented, A.B. was already ahead of the game.
There is only two more weeks of school left. I don't really count this week as actually being a school week because the only thing to do is go to class and review. Friday is the young jeezy concert and it should be a lot of fun. I just found out that on Saturday morning, the morning after the Jeezy concert, that I have to take my math final at nine in the morning. I'm gonna be in bad, bad shape for that test. Sometimes I do a lot better on my tests when I am hung over though. It is weird but a lot of my friends have said the same thing about when they have to take a test the morning after a long night of partyin. One thing I really hate about studyin for my math final for is the fact that I have to cover so much damn information. It is nearly impossible to study without getting stressed to the point of furiousness. All of my other exams should be a piece of cake. The only two I need to worry about are Math and Policing Methods. That damn Policing methods class is tricky to figure out. All the cases are essential to study and a lot of answers always seem correct. You would think it would be an easy class to take, but the thing is the class goes into all the knit picky areas of police work. All the psychological, pysiological, anthropological and other aspects are accounted for. Another thing I find stupid is the course evaluations. Most every student will just mark anything down in order to get it out of their way so they can view their grades.

It is finally Friday and that is something everyone can be excited about. I plan on drinking.....a little. Today was pretty good, probably the best day of the week. Half of it has to do with it being Friday and the other half of it is that I finished taking a test earlier. I feel pretty confident that I did well on the test. I only had to stop and think hard on a couple questions and most of the answers came to me immediately. It is such a relief when you finally finish something that you have been working toward or on all week.
Of course, there are always those few questions that are not going to be mentioned by your instructor on the review. I try to always anticipate and prepare myself for those types of questions, but it seems that no matter what I study for I can never be ready for the questions that sneak their way into the exam. And to top all of that off, I went to a Pike party last night. I tried to conserve myself from getting to hammered and managed not to get too bad. But with the atmosphere and meeting all the new people, I was still tempted.
I have three years left until I graduate and it seems like it will be forever. I know that the time will go by much faster than what I want. As soon as I graduate I am going to have a job that I'll be doing for the rest of my life. I plan on becoming a Federal Agent and would like to be apart of the DEA. This is something that I have always wanted to do since about my sophomore year in high school. I believe that the danger and adrenaline associated with the job will always keep me interested.

Whatever

Last weekend was just another weekend to add on to my life. I left around six in the afternoon on friday to go back to Slidell for the weekend. The weather was startin to get bad around Hattiesburg and looked like it was getting worse the closer I got to home. I heard about a few tornado warnings all throughout the state of Mississippi and I was headed into one of the cells. Luckily nothing happened, but when I got to my house it was pouring down rain like a hurricane. Lightning was pretty bad and the lake was not even visible. I called some friends that live there and asked what they had planned for the night. They said that they were gonna leave for Laffayete for the night. I decided to go with them. Some of our other friends that go to UL were havin a keg party at their apartments. Last time they had a keg there it was awesome and everyone got completely trashed. This time was a little different since the weather was so bad. On our way up there another wave of storms were blowing through around Baton Rouge. We were stuck driving for two hours in the horrible weather. Visibility was only about twenty feet ahead of us on the interstate and it was pretty rough. Once we arrived in Laffayete the weather had already passed. I should have brought jeans because the temperature dropped about twelve degrees in about two hours. It was hard to get drunk since I was cold. Saturday we drove back to Slidell and I met up with some people form hattiesburg. We reserved a hotel on barone street for the night. We left Slidell around four o'clock and arrived at our hotel around five. We started drinkin vodka and playing quarters for about four hours. Once our other friends arrived we headed to tropical isle to get some hand grenades, which is probably one of the best drinks you can get. After that, we met up with some people and went into Bourbon cowboy and got wasted. I lost fifteen dollars to a crack head tryin to play some game with a shoebox, three bottle caps and a little red ball. He ended up switchin the ball under a different bottle cap while I was pullin out my money, so I lost. I got pretty mad about that and had to leave before I jacked him. That was about all that happened that I can remember.

So the end of the school year is nearing and summer is starting to be mentioned. This past weekend I went back home to Slidell to visit my family for easter. Good Friday was pretty interesting considering I went to a crawfish boil and ate my heart out. That night was even more interesting. I went over to an old friend's house who was having a party and met up with some high school buddies of mine. We stayed there and hung out for about an hour. My friend Shawn got a phone call from some of his co-workers saying that they were all goin to Crazy Al's out in the Rigole's. This is probably about a thirty minute drive towards the other side of Slidell and it is out on the Lake. Well we decided to make the drive and arrived about thirty five minutes later. We paid the five dollar cover charge and walked in. It was nothin but thirty year old crack heads that looked like they were all on ecstasy or just got done with construction jobs for the day. The Dj was playin outdated techno music and there were disco lights and fog machines goin off around him. There was also a juke box in the corner by the bar where you could pick out your next song to listen to. My friend's co-workers mentioned that every time they come here they get into a fight with some drunk person who doesn't know who they are. Luckily the people we were with new half the people in there. I saw some old crackhead lady wispering to herself in the corner with a beer in one hand and a cigarette in the other. I decided to leave after about an hour, plus it was already three in the mornin. Shawn called me the next day and said he stayed there till five thrity in the morning, that is just ridiculous. I'll have to be real intoxicated the next time i go back there. I need to find a job real soon for ther summer time. I'll probably have to live in Slidell until Ican move into the cottages behind Mugshot's.

Panama and Stuff

Spring break was pretty swell. It wasn't as luxurious as I had anticipated and I'm not even sure why I had planned on it being that luxurious. I mean come on, ten college boozers in one place with one bathroom for a full week?? Ha, not a pretty thought. I am still surprised that we didn't break more furniture in the room than what we did. We ended up breaking two chairs and a door. That cost us a mere five hundred and fifty dollars. So in order to release our rage we decided to beat the door up. We turned a whole the size of a quarter into a submarine door that you could walk right through. This kind of aggitated the manager, mainly because we had not yet paid him. It took some talking me into, but finally I realized that the only way out of the damages was to pay. The owner could not legally evict us for the prior damage, but could have used the excessive damages to the door to kick us out.
On another note, we saw some pretty wild and crazy stuff. First day we were there a couple girls on the balcony next to us decided to put on a little show for everyone who was outside. The hot blonde took off her top and then proceed to take off the girl's top who was dancing with her also. But wait, it doesn't stop there. Next she took off her bottom and started making out with the other topless girl for the whole world to see. She then did some other unmentionable things the girl for a short period of time, but we got it all on tape. One of the nastiest things I saw was a guy who decided it would be a good idea to funnel a large can of chicken noodle soup. He started and sucked down all the chicken broth. When the noodles started to get backed up, he took one good gulp and sucked it all down. Then he fell into the pool and started to dry heave for about ten minutes. I never saw him puke though....pretty impressive.
Pretty excited about the two new music releases gettin ready to drop shelves. Rick Ross's Trilla which features him and Lil Wayne. The other is Weezy's Carter III album which should bring him a small fortune. Wayne is without a doubt one of the sickest rappers alive. His analogies can be compared to no others and he is one hundred percent orginal. Plus he's from New Orleans, so he's gotta be the best. I have also heard rumors of the Hot Boyz getting back together to produce an album.

Kegs and Different Cities

This weekend was pretty badass. Friday I left for Laffayete with a couple friends. We weren't too sure what we really wanted to do. The Chee Wees were playing at Night Town in Laffayete and Benji Davis was in their hometown, Baton Rouge. So were kinda stuck between decisions. I left Hattiesburg with only 98.00 dollars and somehow ended up with over 200 saturday afternoon. About 20 minutes outside of Laffayete we got a phone call from a friend of ours at LSU. She said Benji Davis sold out 3 hours ago and that they were gonna come to Laffayete to party with everyone. I was pretty excited about that since I wasn't a big fan of going to Laffayete for 2 hours then going 4o minutes back to Baton Rouge just to see Benji Davis. Once we got to Laffayete the party started. Got me a fifth of Captain Morgan's to start off with. After an hour had passed my fifth was nearly gone and my speech was slurrin. Around 11 pm we left to go to Night Town to go see the Chee Wees. They were having some kind of salute to the military that night and i happened to use my military ID and got in for free. I was astound and surprised. The last thing I had expected was to get in for free. We stayed there till about 1:20 and when we went to leave, we discovered our ride had left us. It really didn't surprise me that much knowin the guy that we rode with. This wasn't the first time it had happened. We caught a ride back to the apartments and crashed. The next night we decided to get a keg. I started the day off around 1 o'clock in the afternoon. By around 3 the keg had arrived. We didn't actually float it till 3 in the morning....I was pretty upset. We went to a club called karma and snuck into the exit. So, once again, I got in for free. My friend bought us all shots and after that the night gets fuzzy. All in all the weekend was one to remember for a while.

Hattiesburg

Not too much exciting went on this weekend. Lately I have been cuttin back on all the partyin and concentrating on school and my health. It isn't that I'm doing bad in school, but rather I want to do better in school. I have to keep a minimum of a 3.0 grade point average in order to keep my scholarship. Plus my insurance just doubled from my accident over christmas break. My monthly rate is now a nice 480 dollars instead of 290. Also, I need to save up for spring break so I don't have to pinch money at all during the trip. I plan on stayin at a condo in Panama City and gettin crunk. Anyway, this weekend was not that bad. Friday we pregamed at eagle's trail at a friend's apartment until about 11. After that was over with, we all caravaned to Mugshot's to see 2 hypnotic. I was surprised to wake up with 12 dollars in my wallet. I either robbed somebody or had a lot more money than I anticipated. I got my ass kicked in shuffle board because my partner was to wasted to keep the puck on the table. After we left mugshot's we went back to eagle's trail to continue the partyin. A friend of ours got left here in hattiesburg by his buddies who went back to jackson later on that morning. He was pretty chapped about that whole experience, as he should have been. If my friends left me over an hour away from home with no way back, I'm sure i would be pretty upset about that one. I have been tryin to hit the gym up 6 times a week and so far I'm stayin on schedule. Today was a long day and is still far from over. I still need to go work out and luckily do not have that much homework to do tonight. Not having a lot of homework is pretty unsual for college, but is definately something to be excited about.

Thursday before Mardi Gras

Today is a horrible day. Well, weather wise at least. Basically, this entire second semester as been crappy with the exception of maybe a week. The climate has been cold to freezing and clear to cloudy. No one day has been the same or predictable. I woke up at about twelve in the afternoon today. It is kind of bothersome to wake up that late, because then you have things you would have liked to taken care of earlier on. But, of course you can always procrastinate. I have a big problem with procrastination sometimes. Especially when it comes to having to get my hours in the Math Zone. I hate that place. Mainly because I have to walk all the way across campus to get there and then sit in there for an hour and a half each time. At least it helps me understand my work most of the time. Anyway, enough about that boring stuff. Tomorrow I'm leaving for slidell until Sunday. Me and about eight of my buddies are goin to stay in slidell for the weekend. Tomorrow we are gonna go to the Selene parade at night and get hammered. After that we'll probably throw a party at my other friend's house all night. One of our good buddies is drivin down from Jackson and every time he comes around everyone just goes insane. It is completely awesome. Then after Friday is over with, we'll all get up around nine in the morning, eat and head to the Big Easy around twelve. We'll probably just walk around the French Quarter and check out some of the bad assness out there. Later on, we are gonna go catch the Endemeyon parade and get to see the most bad ass parade in New Orleans. And, of course, after that is over it will be time to hit up the ole Bourbon Street. I'm sure we won't be leaving the city until like six in the morning and we'll sleep most of the day Sunday and then wake up for the Superbowl and start partyin again. All in all this weekend is gonna be one to remember for a life time. I can't wait.

Weekend

So, this site is really pissing me off right now. I just wrote a freakin page and a little extra and when i tried to post it, it screwed up. I thought it was supposed to save automatically and it didn't. That is the stupidest thing that has happened all damn day. Now i am in a bad mood and want to break something. Have you ever been mad and the only thing that made you feel better was breaking something? I don't know why it relieves your stress, but it does. Maybe it transfers your anger into a different object and ultimately destroys it. Anyway, I saw something on Spike TV about a man who was skydiving and his parachute got tangeled up. He pulled out a knife and started to try and cut himself free. Unfortunately, his knife broke. The only piece of equipment that will save his life has just broke. How often does that happen? He has only 1,000 feet until he plumits to his death. Luckily, he carries a second knife. This time the knife doesn't break. He cuts himself free and pulls his resever parachute. He is safe again with only 500 feet to spare. That would not be a good way to die. Falling to your death would be one of the worst ways to die besides drowning, burning alive, being crushed to death, and suffucation. Last night i went to the Hunt club to see Cowboy Mouth. It wasn't really all that great, even though we got tickets for five bucks instead of 15. We tried to scalp the extra tickets that we had, but i think we did that a little to late. The show ended a little after 12 which is a rip-off for those who paid the 15 dollars and went around nine. I can't decide what i wnat to do this weekend. The choices are go to Laffayate and party with some friends up there or head to the coast and get krunk at the casino. Either way i will probably be spending too much money. I would rather go to the coast, mainly because it is a lot closer. I really don't feel like driving for around 4 hours and then having to turn around and do it the next day when i'm tired and hungover.
